My Victories are just as much set it and forget it as any other marker that I own. That is one thing I know HK has fixed and F1 was designing into their Force. I have been shooting Victories on and off since 2011 and I have yet to have a feedneck fall off. I am a fan of the Victory and I have a lot of expirence with them, probably more than most on this site. Really, I think I'd be perfectly happy with a BL/F1 gun that wasn't going to shed its hopper off the break, and could be aired up and played with any time without such sensitivity. Doesn't mean that's how the guns are designed.Īnd the whole losing feed necks thing, there's just no reason for that. I know there's plenty of guys who run BL that don't set up their guns that way. The days of fiddling with a gun to get it running right because it's THAT sensitive to pressures should have been left behind long ago, IMO. Once the guns pretty much required a pressure tester to be "right", and the feed necks were put on a non-grooved stub, I more or less lost interest. My Intimidators were from Species, Ironman, Dragon, and Infamous, and still own a unique Dark Marq. I've run a lot of Bob Long guns over the years. But they are getting harder and harder to get. They are VERY well thought out and great working engines. Vcom new, because of the "dated" technology should only be about 750$.īut im not saying the vcom/vis engines are out of date. When they start making changes and and new guns, then those shoukd be 1200$. And 1 color vcom with only one engine.ġ200$ ? No. F1 only has like 1 style of tach g6r available and ans only has a dragon in limited colors. and another hinderance is the fact that you cant buy them new anywhere. the reptile, side cut marq, dragon, zcut, yadda yadda yadda. There were severeal iterations of the same guns, ie. No new guns in nearly 5 years, most of the recent work is just engine related and be swapped out into the old v1 bodies. it was a bit of a "huh?" Moment for a lot of people. But i think the fact that the newest thing from blast was the vis engine came in 2013(could be a little off). I agree with pump scout, i think when dynasty formed F1 and blast sold the vcom to HK (im sure there is some colaboration since HK amd dynasty hve become somewhat synonomous), it was done so with out a lot of advertisment.
